Care Level: Easy to moderate
Lighting: Low to moderate
Flow: Low to moderate, indirect flow
Placement: Lower rockwork or sand bed with room for full polyp expansion
Growth: Slow to moderate; develops additional fleshy polyps as the colony grows
Feeding: Photosynthetic; benefits from occasional small meaty foods or quality LPS foods
Important: Avoid intense lighting and strong direct flow, which can cause the fleshy polyps to remain retracted or become damaged. Allow space from neighboring corals and acclimate gradually to significant lighting changes.
